On March 8, 26 students of the Vienna High School XIII – Fichtnergasse participated in a Mock trial according to Austrian civil procedural law at GEISTWERT.
After having studied the pertinent provisions of the Austrian civil code, the students prepared their argumentation for a real-live-case. They stepped into the roles of the parties, attorney, testimonies and translators.
GEISTWERT Partner Rainer Schultes acted as the judge who – after close of hearing – has delivered its judgement according to a jurisprudence of the Austrian Supreme Court on this very specific matter.
