Juliane Messner and Max Mosing spoke at the ISACA (ISC)2 Conference 2025 on 15 January 2025 on the topic of ‘Regulation where no eye can see – or: Security through alphabet soup?’.
GDPR, AI Act, NIS2, CRA … all these ‘EU laws’ aim to protect our information society, especially from attacks using AI! Conversely, the ‘EU laws’ set the limits for the use of AI for the defence against (potential) cyber attacks. The speakers therefore approached the topic of ‘Threats from AI and support for cyber security defence through AI’ from the perspective of the EU legislator and law user in front of an audience of more than 200 interested listeners.
