The publication of a judgment is a specific sanction under Austrian intellectual property law. It serves to inform the relevant public of the injunctive obligations imposed on the infringer in relation to, for example, patents, copyright, the Unfair Competition Act (UWG), trade marks or designs. The costs of this must be borne by the infringer.
