On 1 and 2 June 2026, GEISTWERT partner Rainer Schultes attended the first PMAC Dispute Resolution Forum in Ljubljana. The event marked an important milestone for the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (PMAC) of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) and brought together leading judges, arbitrators, mediators and patent law experts from across Europe.
As a Member of the Arbitral Tribunal (PMAC), Rainer Schultes was present and attended the official opening of the PMAC. During the forum, he also took the opportunity to exchange views with international experts on alternative dispute resolution, the unitary patent and UPC practice.
