This year’s INTA Annual Meeting in London gave us at GEISTWERT not only what we came for—but also a little bit more.
All five partners made the trip. That alone already set the tone: this was not going to be just another conference, but a full-team experience.
INTA: Familiar Faces, New Connections
As always, INTA proved to be the perfect mix of highly focused professional exchange and genuinely enjoyable social interaction. We had the pleasure of reconnecting with many long-standing colleagues, friends, and clients from across the globe – some of whom we only meet once a year, but with whom conversations resume as if no time had passed.
At the same time, this year brought a remarkable number of new encounters. Fresh perspectives, new jurisdictions, emerging brands, and exciting conversations
From early morning coffees to tightly scheduled meetings and the occasional spontaneous hallway chat, the week was packed—with substance, insight, and more than a few good laughs.
Not Your Usual Hotel Stay
But what truly made this year’s INTA stand out for us was where we stayed.
Instead of opting for the usual hotel experience, we decided to try something different: a houseboat in St. Katharine Docks, just steps away from Tower Bridge.
And what can we say—it was worth it:
Waking up to the gentle movement of the water (and occasionally the not-so-gentle London weather), having breakfast on deck overlooking the marina, and ending the day together in a setting that felt more like a shared retreat than a business trip—it added a whole new dimension to the week.
More Than a Conference
INTA is always about connections—but this year also reminded us how important it is to experience these moments as a team.
Traveling together, working together, and yes—also enjoying London together—made this week particularly special for us. It strengthened not only our external relationships, but also what we build internally at GEISTWERT.
